Who we are

EcoNestor Ltd is the data controller for information submitted through this website. If you have any questions about privacy, or wish to exercise your rights, contact us at farhan@econestor.co.uk.

Information we collect

Depending on how you contact us, personal information may include your name, email address, telephone number, property address, and any information you supply in an enquiry or booking.

Why we need your information

To respond to your enquiry, provide an accurate quote, arrange a booking or carry out the requested EPC or floor-plan service, we need your contact details and the property address. If you do not provide the information reasonably required, we may not be able to quote, book or carry out the service.

How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiry and answer your questions.
• To arrange and provide the EPC or floor-plan services you request.
• To process bookings and payments.
• To maintain the business records we are required to keep.
• To handle ongoing customer communications about your assessment or report.

Website analytics is separate, based on your consent, and always optional.

Lawful bases for using your information

UK data protection law requires us to have a lawful basis for handling your personal information. The main bases that apply are:

• Contract / steps before entering a contract: where you ask for a quote, make a booking, purchase an EPC or floor-plan service, or ask us to provide the requested service.
• Legal obligation: where information must be retained or processed to meet applicable accounting, tax or other legal obligations.
• Legitimate interests: where reasonably necessary for routine business administration, service-related customer communications, website and security protection, and managing the business, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights.
• Consent: for optional Google Analytics 4. You can withdraw analytics consent at any time through Cookie settings.

Consent is not the basis for ordinary EPC enquiries or bookings.

Service providers we use

• Stripe — secure payment processing for online bookings.
• Supabase — secure storage of enquiries and order records.
• Web3Forms — delivery of enquiry notifications to our inbox.
• Google Analytics — only where you have given analytics consent.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it beyond what is needed to provide the service you have asked for or to meet a legal obligation.

How long we keep it

Personal information is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected, and to meet applicable legal and accounting obligations. It is then deleted or securely disposed of.

Essential website functionality

A small amount of storage is always used to keep the website working — for example remembering your cookie preference, protecting forms from spam, and completing secure payments through our payment provider. These cannot be switched off, and they are not used for tracking or advertising.

Google Analytics 4 (optional)

With your consent we use Google Analytics 4 (Measurement ID G-1H55PGGHWE) to understand how many people visit the site, which pages are useful, and whether people find it easy to get in touch.

Analytics is entirely optional. Google Analytics is not loaded and no analytics data is collected unless you choose “Accept analytics”. Analytics storage is denied by default using Google Consent Mode.

No advertising cookies

No advertising or personalisation cookies are intentionally used by this implementation. Advertising consent signals (ad storage, ad user data and ad personalisation) are kept denied at all times, and advertising features and Google signals are disabled.

What we never send to Google

EcoNestor does not intentionally send names, email addresses, telephone numbers, property addresses or house numbers, postcodes entered into forms, enquiry messages, or any other personally identifiable information to Google Analytics. We only record non-personal information such as the page visited, the service type selected, and — for completed bookings — the order reference and amount paid in GBP.

Changing your cookie preference

You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the website footer, or the button below. You can also delete cookies through your browser settings.

Your preference is stored on your device only. Current preference: not set.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:

• Give you access to the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
• Delete your information, where we are not required to keep it.
• Receive a copy of your information in a portable format, where this right applies.
• Restrict or object to how we use your information, where that right applies.
• Withdraw your analytics consent at any time using the “Cookie settings” link above.
